In addition to plush accommodations, The James Madison Inn offers a variety of meeting spaces equipped with the technology modern organizations need. Combining the comfort of our facilities with the world-class service of our staff and the serenity of historic Madison, we guarantee a retreat that is both productive and unforgettable.
When you’re not in meetings, The James Madison Inn and its local partners will keep your group entertained with a wide variety of recreational and relaxing options, some of which cannot be found in more urban settings. The area surrounding Madison is renowned for its stunning golf courses and year-round outdoor sporting, whether it be a guided quail hunt or an afternoon of bass fishing on a private, stocked pond. These and dozens of other activities can be planned and packaged by our knowledgeable concierge services. Let us custom tailor your experience to suit the needs and interests of your group.
For smaller groups, our media room (located within the hotel) provides an intimate setting, ideal for executive retreats and other parties up to 16. We understand what modern business meetings require, and we’ve fitted the room with projection equipment, integrated for use with a PC or Mac, in addition to Wi-fi and teleconferencing capabilities.
For larger groups, The James Madison Conference Center, also located on the property, allows for groups up to 250 to gather in our James Madison Hall, which is equipped with a stage and public address system. When it’s time to continue your meeting in a smaller, break-out groups, we have a number of rooms available. If the weather is nice, you’ll love our outdoor area which includes a grass amphitheatre and adjacent park. For more information on The James Madison Conference center, click here.

Recently we (The University of Georgia, Public Service and Outreach directors and administrators) had
the opportunity to stay overnight at The James Madison Inn. You and Jennifer Singleton graciously helped us with logistics while we conducted our meetings. The lodging and organization of these
meetings went smoothly due to the fact that you and Jennifer arranged the facility details.
l have heard only good comments from everyone, upon our return to Athens. I want to thank you for all
your hard work and detailed arrangements while we visited your Inn.
